BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 25, 2026) — Thirty drivers in both the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds and Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars will take center stage during America’s Racin’ Vacation at the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s when the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational and B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational return to Boone Speedway.
Drivers earned eligibility for the invitationals by winning designated All-Star qualifying events paying a minimum of $1,000 to win during the season and last fall. Two rounds of group time trials during Super Nationals week will determine the majority of the 30-car starting fields.
The B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10, with qualifying Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Round one of Stock Car group qualifying will advance five drivers from both the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and Southern Region for 10 total qualifiers. Stock Car drivers who won IMCA-sanctioned events paying $5,000 or more to win are guaranteed starting positions in the Invitational.
The remainder of the 30-car field will be determined during round two. The number advancing will be based on the number already qualified through round one and the number of guaranteed starting positions.
There will be plenty on the line when the field takes the green flag. Every driver who qualifies for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational will receive a custom cooler courtesy of IMCA and B&B Racing Chassis.
B&B Racing Chassis will also give away a brand-new chassis as part of the All-Star Invitational. The winner will have the option to accept the B&B Racing Chassis or defer the award. That decision must be declared in victory lane immediately following the Invitational and will be final once made. If the winner defers the chassis, it will be auctioned at the end of championship Saturday in the NAPA Fan Zone.
The Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational follows Friday, Sept. 11, with group qualifying scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10.
Round one will advance two drivers from each of IMCA’s five Modified regions — the Razor Chassis North Central, Jet Racing Central, GRT Race Cars South Central, DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western, and Close Racing Supply Eastern regions — putting 10 drivers into the starting field. The fastest 18 remaining drivers during the second round of group time trials will also advance.
The final two starting positions will go to the highest driver in the national point standings and the driver with the most 40-point feature wins during the current season who are competing at Super Nationals.
Thirty cars will start the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational, with no additional provisionals or starting positions added.
Every driver who qualifies for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational will receive a custom Velocita driving suit and a mini replica driveshaft, with additional contingency awards going to the winner.
P1 Promotions will also award a free custom pop-up tent to the fastest driver in each division during the first round of All-Star group qualifying.
Elmquist Towing will add another incentive to both invitationals, paying $25 to the leader of each lap in both races.
Once qualifying is complete, starting positions for both All-Star Invitationals will be determined by draw. The redraws will take place in the NAPA Fan Zone, giving fans an opportunity to see where the 30 qualifiers will line up before the green flag.
