Bittner Goes Wire-to-Wire at Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (May 16, 2026) — Timmy Bittner put together a flawless evening Saturday night at Hagerstown Speedway, sweeping the program and wiring the field in the multi-sanctioned RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature.

Thirty-four RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars filled the pit area for the event, which was co-sanctioned by the River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series, Virginia Sprint Series, and Laurel Highlands Sprint Series.

Bittner, from Beech Creek, Pennsylvania, opened the night by winning his heat race before earning the pole position for the 26-car main event. Once the green flag waved, the No. 01 machine never surrendered the top spot.

Behind him, several drivers battled intensely for podium positions throughout the feature, including Logan Spahr, Colton Hendershot, and Kenny Heffner. Despite pressure from the contenders, Bittner remained composed and drove away to score his second victory of the 2026 season and first with any of the three touring series this year.

Spahr charged from ninth starting position to finish second, while Heffner completed the podium in third. Hendershot crossed the stripe fourth ahead of Ryan Lynn in fifth.

Heat race victories earlier in the evening went to Tyler Schell, Bittner, Lynn, and Jim Pattock. Mike Alleman captured the B Main.

Mike Meilar earned hard charger honors after advancing from 23rd to 11th.

Shatzer Sails to Fast Friday Win At Dixieland

(Jun. 20, 2025) — Dylan Shatzer made the trip to the shore worthwhile, driving the Al Moser-owned sprinter to both a heat race win and the feature victory Friday at Dixieland Speedway with the Virginia Sprint Series. Shatzer and Aaron Leach brought the field to green with Shatzer grabbing the early lead. Leach and Jerald Harris tucked in behind as the fast and smooth surface allowed the laps to click off quickly. Chris Humblet worked his way into fourth while Matt Mullins, Matthew Leach, and Caleb Harris battled for fifth at halfway. Caleb Harris found speed in a new groove and moved into fourth, with Humblet staying strong in fifth and Mullins edging by Bolac for sixth. Bolac sprints to winged win at Dixieland

By Jim Haines ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (June 21, 2024) – Home track advantage worked out well for Daren Bolac, winner of the Fast Friday Virginia Sprint Series feature at Dixieland Speedway. Jerald Harris and Bolac paced the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature field to green on the hot summer night but the race track was perfect with multiple lanes, smooth and fast. Harris went to the lead and was staying low as Bolac went high and was all over Harris every lap with Matthew Leach staying in touch in third with a fast closing Chris Humblet in fourth. Hubbard Hustles to Fast Friday Victory at Dixieland with Virginia Sprint Series

(May 8, 2026) — Billy Hubbard put together a perfect night with the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars of the Virginia Sprint Series, sweeping both his heat race and the feature on Fast Friday at Dixieland Speedway. Hubbard, from Cobbs Creek, set the tone early by winning his heat, while Matthew Leach also scored a preliminary victory. When the feature went green, Hubbard and Jerald Harris led the field to the stripe, with Hubbard immediately seizing control. Harris settled into second, with Leach holding third in the early stages. Fett Sweeps Stock Cars and Modifieds at Kossuth County

By Greg Grabinoski ALGONA, Iowa (May 14, 2026) — Colby Fett put together a dominant night Thursday at Kossuth County Speedway, sweeping both the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car and Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified features. In the 20-lap Stock Car feature, Fett grabbed the early lead before an early caution on lap two slowed the field. Another yellow on lap eight was the only thing delaying the Algona driver’s trip to victory lane as he collected his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region win of the season. Ryan Roath finished second while Kelly Shryock advanced from ninth to third. Wayne Landheer took fourth and Chad Palmer completed the top five. Maynard Sweeps Weekend IMCA Modified Action at The Hill and Woodhull

(May 16, 2026) — Wyalusing, Pennsylvania driver Jake Maynard put together a perfect opening weekend, scoring a pair of Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified victories Friday at The Hill Speedway and Saturday at Woodhull Raceway to collect two early season wins in the Close Racing Supply Eastern Region. Friday night at The Hill Speedway, Maynard overcame adversity before the racing even began. Birkhofer Scores First Late Model Win of Season at Davenport

By Mike McGuire DAVENPORT, Iowa (May 15, 2026) — Beautiful weather and fast racecars made for an enjoyable evening Friday at Davenport Speedway. Cruz Birkhofer dominated the Sunoco IMCA Late Models. The Muscatine driver started seventh in the feature and did not see the lead until lap 16. Once out front, Birkhofer drove away from the field to score his first win of the season by more than two seconds. Andy Nezworski charged from 10th to finish second. Early race leader Logan Veloz held on for third while Nathan Balensiefen and Chuck Hanna rounded out the top five. Nezworski and Veloz were Late Model heat winners.
