VINTON, Iowa (May 14, 2026) — The All-Star Shootout is just a week away from roaring back to life, as four straight nights of Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing action are set for May 21-24 across Texas and Oklahoma with increased payouts, new race procedures, and a packed lineup of contingency awards.
Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods will again headline the tour. Modifieds will race for $1,250 to win and $125 to start each night, while Stock Cars and Southern SportMods compete for $1,000 to win and $100 to start.
All four nights will serve as Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational and B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational qualifiers, giving drivers multiple opportunities to add their names to the eligibility lists ahead of the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September.
The 2026 tour opens Thursday, May 21 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, followed by Friday, May 22 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells. The series then heads to Kennedale Speedway Park on Saturday, May 23 before wrapping up Sunday, May 24 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco.
Each night will feature a draw/redraw format. New for 2026 will be Texas Two-Step restarts in heat races, consolation events, and feature races, allowing the second-place driver to choose either the inside or outside lane for restarts. The Canopy Express Restart Zone will be marked by feather flags in turn four each night, while Smiley’s Racing Products will sponsor victory lane celebrations throughout the tour.
On Demand Shirts will provide official event apparel for the Shootout.
In addition to nightly winnings, Modified drivers can earn bonuses for repeat victories, including $500 for two wins, $1,000 for three wins, and a $2,000 bonus for a clean sweep of all four nights.
A points fund has also been established for all three divisions. In the Modified division, the champion will earn $1,000, with $600 for second, $400 for third, $300 for fourth, and $200 for fifth. Sixth through tenth in points will each receive $100.
For Stock Cars and Southern SportMods, champions will earn $500, with $400 for second, $300 for third, $200 for fourth, and $100 each for fifth through tenth.
The tour will again offer an extensive lineup of contingency awards and sponsor support. Fast Shafts will provide driveshaft awards, while Abilene Race Rads awards radiators and fans. Additional contingencies include certificates from Wehrs Machine & Racing Products, Smiley’s Racing Products, CRS Suspension, and Lit Sticks Pit Lights.
The Modified champion will receive a custom tour-designed 10×10 canopy, while the Southern SportMod champion earns a set of pit lights from Lit Sticks Pit Lights. The Stock Car champion will receive a custom-designed trailer enclosure wrap.
Perfect attendance awards will also be up for grabs. Modified and Stock Car teams competing all four nights will be entered into a drawing for a custom tour-designed Rush Race Gear firesuit.
The overall winner of the MyRacePass Fantasy Challenge will take home a goody bag packed with apparel and gifts from tour sponsors.
Additional support for the tour comes from IMCA TV, Toyota of Waco, which will provide the official pace truck, Southern Sass Photography as the official tour photographer, Diamond Duo Adventures, and We Rock The Spectrum Kids Gym of North Austin.
Registration remains open on MyRacePass. Entry fees are $125 for Modifieds and $100 for both Stock Cars and Southern SportMods. Non pre-registered drivers will pay nightly entry fees of $50 for Modifieds and $40 for Stock Cars and Southern SportMods. Pit passes will be $35 each night at all four facilities.
Fans unable to attend can catch every lap live on IMCA TV, where America comes to watch racing.
