ALGER, Wash. (May 9, 2026) — Cole Logan put on a show in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, charging from ninth to score a second straight victory at Skagit Speedway and in the DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region.

The Burlington driver worked his way into contention and sat third as the laps wound down before making his decisive move on lap 19. Carrying momentum around the extreme high side, Logan swept past Adam Holtrop and Rick Smith in the same corner to take command.

Once out front, Logan pulled away to secure the win, adding another statement performance to his early-season résumé.

Smith held on for second, while Tyson Blood capitalized late to claim third. Holtrop finished fourth, and Rory Smith, representing British Columbia, rounded out the top five.

The race served as a Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational qualifier for the 2026 Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September. Logan had already secured his spot the previous week, making this win a momentum builder rather than a ticket punch.

Logan and Kyler Moore each earned heat race victories earlier in the program.
