Moore Masters Grays Harbor for Fourth Victory of 2025

ELMA, Wash. (Sept. 13, 2025) — Seabeck’s Craig Moore took the early lead in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature and used the high side on multiple restarts to hold off Zack Simpson, collecting his fourth Shaw Race Cars Western Region win of the season — all coming at Grays Harbor Raceway.

Brenton Schnitzer charged forward from his 11th starting position and made a last-lap move around Simpson to secure second. Simpson, driving the Josh Muller-owned no. 3 car, settled for third.

Williamson wins IMCA Modified RoC at Friday Shipwreck Beads Nationals show

(July 14, 2023) – Night number one of Grays Harbor Raceway’s 24th annual Shipwreck Beads Nationals saw Jesse Williamson win the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified Race of Champions while Trevor Points prevailed in the $1,000 to win Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod main. Twenty-one cars set the field for 25 laps during the Race of Champions, made up of 2023 feature winners and track champions across the Northwest and Canada. Williamson and Jason Tole set the front row. Williamson struck first going into turn one, taking the lead while Jason Beaulieu moved into second and Collen Winebarger made it a battle for the runner-up position. Williamson quickly put some distance on Winebarger, Beaulieu and Matthew Drager as Austin Kerrigan ran fifth. Following an early restart, it was Williamson with Winebarger right at his back bumper. Miner Controls Every Lap for First Modified Win of 2025 at Elma

(May 3, 2025) — Zane Miner from Graham led every lap of Saturday’s Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Grays Harbor Raceway to earn his first win of the 2025 season in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region. Miner took a massive lead early on before a lap 7 caution briefly erased his advantage. Another stoppage on lap 9 reset the field again, but he executed strong restarts each time to maintain control. Behind him, Brenton Schnitzer and Tyson Blood battled fiercely for the runner-up spot in the final ten laps, with Schnitzer ultimately holding off Blood, who charged from deep in the field. Miner’s pace was tested again in lapped traffic with five laps to go, but a final caution with two laps remaining gave him a clean restart. $7,500-to-Win Modified Nationals Returns to Grays Harbor Raceway July 18–19

(June 18, 2025) — One of the biggest Friesen Performance Modified races in the Pacific Northwest returns for its 26th running, as the Modified Nationals takes center stage at Grays Harbor Raceway on Friday and Saturday, July 18–19. The event pays an impressive $7,500 to win and $200 to start Saturday’s 40-lap main event, with over $20,000 in total purse money up for grabs. This IMCA-sanctioned special will feature two nights of intense racing. On Friday, all drivers will compete in two heat races — the first lined up straight-up by pill draw, the second fully inverted by original draw order. Points will be awarded based on finishing position and passing points. “Kruz Missile” Kepner Hits Target with PASS Victory at Selinsgrove

(Sept. 13, 2025) — Kruz Kepner doesn’t have much time to think about anything during the 10-minute ride from his home in Kreamer, Pa., to Selinsgrove Speedway, but he had a full week to think about being wrecked twice on the opening lap last weekend and wanting to erase the memory of that awful pair of races. His thinking — and his driving — did the job. Kepner scored his second Selinsgrove win of the season and fourth overall in River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series competition Saturday night, extending his lead in both the season’s PASS points standings and those for the track. Kepner started the feature in seventh and actually slipped back on the opening lap, but he quickly began to recover. Humblet Holds Off Hubbard in Virginia Sprint Series Thriller

(Sept. 13, 2025) — Chris Humblet made changes after his heat race that proved to be the right ones, as he flew to the win at Langley Speedway with the Virginia Sprint Series. Jerald Harris and Humblet paced the field to green, with Humblet jumping out first and Harris settling into second as Billy Hubbard quickly moved into third. Humblet stayed strong out front while Harris struggled with his tire choice, allowing Hubbard to get by and set his sights on the leader. As the laps clicked off quickly on the pavement, Humblet began working traffic, and with five to go, Hubbard had closed right in. With two laps left, Hubbard made a strong charge and got within a couple of car lengths, but that was as close as he would come. Humblet flashed under the waving checkered flag for his second win of the season at Langley, with Hubbard second and Matthew Leach third.

Weaver Wins Commonwealth Clash AST Feature at Lernerville; Kornbau Secures AST Championship

(Sept. 12, 2025) — The Friday portion of the Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway featured the Allegheny Sprint Tour and attracted 20 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car competitors to the Sarver oval. Kasey Weaver of Everett, Pa., led from the pole and never looked back, scoring his first career AST victory at Lernerville. Meanwhile, Hermitage’s Jeremy Kornbau wrapped up his first-ever Allegheny Sprint Tour championship. Weaver lined up on the inside front row, alongside second-year driver Hunter Hite. Weaver jumped out to the lead at the drop of the green, while Hite slipped back as Roman Jones moved into second. Trouble struck early when Timmy Bittner slowed on the backstretch and retired from the event. By mid-race, Weaver and Jones traded momentum at the front, with Jones inching ahead before Weaver powered back around on the outside to retake command.
