SHOW LOW, Ariz. (July 26, 2025) — Bo Partain proved untouchable in Sunoco IMCA Stock Car competition at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway, driving from ninth both nights to sweep the weekend and raise his win tally to five on the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region, with four coming at the Arizona 1/4-mile oval.
On Friday, he muscled past Grady Clements on lap six and never looked back. Newcomer Sean Stacy impressed in his first Stock Car start by finishing second, while Speedy Madrid rounded out the top three.
Saturday night’s race saw a similar script. Partain again chased down Clements and fended off Jacob Pace and Stacy to claim back-to-back wins and further cement his dominance on the Show Low surface. Pace and Stacy were second and third.

McDaniel and Madrid Split Hobby Stock Features
The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock main events featured a split decision between two drivers, Charles McDaniel Jr. and Anthony Madrid.
On Friday, Don Sterbutzel led the early circuits until McDaniel took charge on lap three. McDaniel survived a series of restarts and held off Steve Bitting Jr. and Hunter Ferrell for his first B&B Racing Chassis Southern Region win of the season, coming from the sixth starting position.
Saturday night saw Madrid capitalize on a strong starting spot to win a dramatic contest. McDaniel had to rally from the tail after an early incident and clawed his way back to second. Nathan DeRagon also challenged late in a three-way war for the win. At one point, DeRagon even passed Madrid in traffic, but a caution waved just in time to revert the order. Madrid made the most of the reset, holding on for his first regional win of 2025.
