
BEATRICE, Neb. (Aug. 25) – Five IMCA divisions fill the Friday, Aug. 29 Nebraska State Championship card at Beatrice Speedway.
IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds race for $600 to win and a minimum of $100 to start. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are in the running for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $300 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $150.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded. Numerous prizes will be given to competitors.
Entry fees after Aug. 26 are $40 for Modifieds, $35 for SportMods, $30 for Stocks and Hobbies and $25 for Sport Compacts.
Pit passes are $25. Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids and free for six and under. Gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
The Nebraska State Championships are promoted by S & J Promotions.
