Eagle cancels Ice Breaker Challenge

EAGLE, Neb. – The biggest event of the season for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars will have a bigger purse. Winner of the Sunday, Sept. 5 RaceSaver National powered by Sunbelt Rentals at Eagle Raceway takes home $3,000, with a minimum of $1,500 paid to start the ninth annual event. “This is a class that continues to grow and the RaceSaver philosophy is to increase purses throughout the field, not just at the top,” said Eagle promoter Roger Hadan. “We’re already hosting the biggest event for Sprint Cars in the nation. EAGLE, Neb. – Just a little over two weeks from today, the initial night of the 2019 RaceSaver Nationals kicks off at Eagle Raceway with qualifying heats for the Jake Ita Memorial Race of Champions and a practice night for all competitors. Prior to being able to compete at the Aug. 29-Sept. 1 Nationals, each and every IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car and engine that will see action has to go through the most rigorous and thorough technical inspection seen in any sprint car sanction in the world. Not one wheel will hit the track without passing that inspection to ensure that every team has the opportunity to compete on an even footing. By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 5, 2023) – The final race of the night proved to be a classic on Rock ‘n Roll Classic Night Saturday at Eagle Raceway. Trevor Grossenbacher raced from 17th to first in scoring his first IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature win of the season. Grossenbacher was on a mission as he passed Jake Galusha for second with six laps to go. There were just two laps left when Josh Riggins spun out in turn two, setting up a  battle to the finish between Grossenbacher and Tyler Drueke. Grossenbacher used a huge slider in turns three and four on the restart to grab the lead, then held on for the win with Drueke second and Adam Gullion third. “Everybody was kind of two-wide at the start and I couldn’t get my momentum going.
