Jason Ebert accepted his high school diploma, then went to the track and won the Saturday feature for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods at Shawano Speedway.

SHAWANO, Wis. (May 26) – It was a day to remember for Jason Ebert.
During the afternoon, Ebert walked across the stage as he graduated from Clintonville High School. In the evening, Ebert raced to victory lane in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at Shawano Speedway, ending Lucas Lamberies’ three-race win streak.
Bryce Clements took the early lead while being challenged by Ebert, who was able to make the pass for the lead on lap four.
Through the remainder of the race, Ebert was pressured by Kyle Raddant and Lucas Lamberies. Ebert fended off all comers as he scored his first win of the year. Lamberies, Raddant, Jordan Barkholtz, and Jason Jach rounded out the top five.
Kevin Feck won his first local IMCA Modified feature while Travis Van Straten was the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car victor.
SHAWANO, Wis. (May 22) – A picture perfect night for racing brought a large crowd to the Legendary Half Mile Shawano Speedway and with added money in the IMCA Modified division it wassure to be a big night of racing. Thanks to Line x Extreme Coating there were 1,000 reasons to win the IMCA Modified feature. Normally a driver leading green to checkered for the win makes the recap a mundane thing to write but not on this night. Johnny Whitman took the lead on the opening lap after starting third. Whitman began to power away from the field. With multiple feature wins this season, Mike Mullen was doing his best to entertain as he sliced his way to the front. SHAWANO, Wis. (July 15, 2023) – Racing was spooktacular and Max Oreskovich, Marcus Yarie and Trent Nolan were all spectacular in their respective IMCA feature wins during Shawano Speedway’s Saturday Halloween at the Half Mile show. In the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod feature, Dustin Marquardt and Shannon Fandrey paced the field to green but JJ Vanderloop quickly used his fourth starting spot to get past Marquardt for the lead. As laps continued to tick away, the machines of Oreskovich, Jeffery Teske and Tyler Sobiesczyk, were making a charge to the front. A yellow flag flew on lap nine which Oreskovich took advantage of and was a few car links away from Vanderloop. Sobiesczyk fell victim to mechanical issues and had to be surrender his spot and unfortunately ending his night. In the closing laps multiple drivers were all the potential winner. (July 14) – Lance Arneson secured his first IMCA Modified win of the year with a last-lap pass of Wyatt Block when Shawano Speedway celebrated Halloween at the Half Mile on Saturday night. Ageless Jerry Muenster led lap one before his son Eddie made an outside pass to take the top spot. Block raced past Jerry for second by lap five and set his sights squarely on Eddie. Block got underneath Eddie on lap eight to take the lead. Arneson was moving quickly toward the front and as Block took the white flag, Arneson went to the high line and found an advantage. The pair raced door-to-door through turns three and four. Arneson pulled ahead as they approached the checkered flag to score his first win of the year. Eddie Muenster, Marcus Yarie and Jason Czarapata completed the top five. Trent Nolan raced to his fourth consecutive IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature win while Lucas Lamberies notched Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod win number five.
