Jason Ebert accepted his high school diploma, then went to the track and won the Saturday feature for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods at Shawano Speedway.

SHAWANO, Wis. (May 26) – It was a day to remember for Jason Ebert.
During the afternoon, Ebert walked across the stage as he graduated from Clintonville High School. In the evening, Ebert raced to victory lane in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at Shawano Speedway, ending Lucas Lamberies’ three-race win streak.
Bryce Clements took the early lead while being challenged by Ebert, who was able to make the pass for the lead on lap four.
Through the remainder of the race, Ebert was pressured by Kyle Raddant and Lucas Lamberies. Ebert fended off all comers as he scored his first win of the year. Lamberies, Raddant, Jordan Barkholtz, and Jason Jach rounded out the top five.
Kevin Feck won his first local IMCA Modified feature while Travis Van Straten was the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car victor.
SHAWANO, Wis. (April 17) – Welcome sights on opening night at Shawano Speedway included a nearly packed grandstand and 111 cars checking in to the pit area. Eric ‘Chummy’ Arneson would return to racing action at the speedway in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car division and would battle through caution the opening laps to take the lead on lap four, powering past the Chucky Forstner machine and bringing Jeremy Christians along with him. Arneson and Christians were joined by Kevin Hebbe in the top three before numerous cautions set up a final lap shoot out that found Christians jumping past Arneson to pick up another feature win. The constant throughout the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod event was defending track champion Jayden Schmidt leading the pack. Owen SHAWANO, Wis, (Aug. 20, 2022) – Andy Karl survived a caution slowed Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature to score his first-ever feature win at the historic half mile Shawano Speedway Saturday night. Former rookie of the year Adam Jacobson took the lead at the start of the event. Karl went to the inside on lap three to take the lead. Karl survived and used multiple restarts to maintain his advantage at the front of the field. JJ Anderson applied pressure to the leader before mechanical woes ended his night. Late in the race, Karl held off Jayden Schmidt for the win. Schmidt advanced 13 spots for second. Lucas Lamberies finished third. Ageless Jerry Muenster was fourth and Marcus Yarie advanced 11 spots to take fifth. By Scott Owen SHAWANO, Wis. (June 27) – The fans that came out in droves for Hall of Fame Night at Shawano Speedway enjoyed a hall of fame caliber performance from Dan Michonski Saturday night. After qualifying from a ‘B’ feature, Michonski started 17th and hustled all the way to the front of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature field. Trent Nolan and Jeremie Hedrick fought for the lead at the start and were quickly joined by Rod Snellenberger and Brandon Czarapata at the front.
