DAVENPORT, Iowa (June 26, 2026) — Fifteen-year-old Bryson Eckrich stormed from the 15th starting position Friday night to capture the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature, earning his third victory of the season and second at Davenport Speedway in 2026.
Cody Weih and Mike Adam traded the lead during the opening laps before Scott Walker took command on lap 13. Eckrich completed the winning pass one lap later and drove away over the closing circuits.
Walker finished second, Adam was third, Cole Stichter placed fourth, and Tyler Maschmann completed the top five. Jordan Hicks also turned in a strong run, advancing from 20th to ninth.
Garnhart Outduels Rivals for Davenport Late Model Victory
Bryce Garnhart became the fifth different winner in five Sunoco IMCA Late Model features this season, rallying through a hard-fought battle to score the win in the 25-lap main event.
After starting fifth, the Lanark, Illinois, driver worked past early leader Jayden Johnson before briefly surrendering the top spot to Mitch Morris. Garnhart soon found himself in a three-way fight for the lead with Morris and Andy Nezworski before prevailing by 0.603 seconds to earn his second victory of the season at two different tracks.
Nezworski charged from 10th to finish second, Morris crossed the stripe third, Travis Denning advanced from 13th to fourth, and Dustin Smith rallied from 16th to complete the top five.
Durbin Breaks Through in Modified Feature
Brandon Durbin led every lap of the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature to earn his first Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season.
Starting alongside the front row, the Colona, Illinois, driver kept the field at bay throughout the caution-free 20-lap contest while a spirited battle for second unfolded behind him.
Shane Paris advanced from seventh to finish second, Spencer Diercks charged from 10th to third, and Kyle Montgomery finished fourth. Matt Werner rounded out the top five.
Wells Wins Three-Way Stock Car Battle
Keegan Wells emerged from a race-long battle with Jordan Miles and David Brandies to win the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature.
The Wilton driver started on the pole and traded the lead several times before pulling away late to earn his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season.
Brandies finished second ahead of Jordan Miles, Greg Gill, and Kodey Miles.
Karter Miles Scores Fourth Davenport Hobby Stock Win
Karter Miles charged from 10th to the lead by lap five and never looked back in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature.
The Bernard driver collected his ninth B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season and fourth at Davenport Speedway while holding off Carson Butt over the closing laps.
Butt finished second after starting 12th, Shawn Pappas held on for third, Brett Timmerman finished fourth, and Randy LaMar completed the top five.
