Dosch Breaks Through for First Dacotah Stock Car Victory

MANDAN, N.D. (June 19, 2026) — Matt Dosch’s speed finally translated into a victory Friday night at Dacotah Speedway as the Bismarck driver earned his first Sunoco IMCA Stock Car win of the season.

A thrilling three-wide battle between Sierra Davenport, Shawn Volk and Dosch highlighted the opening laps before Dosch emerged with the lead. Once out front, he and Jason Berg separated themselves from the rest of the field while points leader Geoff Hellman and Todd Carter charged forward.

Hellman worked his way into third but could not close the gap on the front-runners as Dosch led 16 of the 20 circuits en route to his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season.

Berg finished second, followed by Hellman, Carter and Brock Beeter.

Pittenger Powers to Dominant Modified Triumph

Crist Pittenger put together a commanding performance in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature to earn his first Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season.

Pole sitter Jacoby Traut led the opening lap before Pittenger blasted into the lead on lap two and quickly established himself as the driver to beat.

Behind him, an entertaining battle for second developed between John Corell, Jeremy Keller and Scott Gartner. Using the high side of the speedway, Gartner worked his way past both competitors and began reeling in the leader.

Despite Gartner’s late charge, Pittenger maintained a comfortable advantage and raced to the victory.

The Bismarck driver crossed the stripe ahead of Gartner, who recorded the best Dacotah Speedway IMCA Modified finish of his career. Corell completed the podium while Mark Dahl made a late-race pass to finish fourth ahead of Keller.

Dacotah Stock Car checkers are first for Gartner

By Becca Pelkey MANAN, N.D. (Aug. 2, 2024) – It was a super hot Friday night at Dacotah Speedway on Friday and the night kicked off with the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car make-up feature from June 28. Dylan Herner and Jason Meidinger led the field to the green flag. Meidinger took the early lead but Shawn Strand quickly worked his way to the front to challenge. They raced door-to-door for several laps before Strand slipped by on lap four. Meidinger then fell into the clutches of Hunter Domagala. As they raced hard for second, Shawn Volk made it a three-car battle. While racing for second, Domagala got loose and spun in front of the field with six laps to go. Hibdon gets biggest IMCA Modified win at Dacotah Speedway’s Iron Man

MANDAN, N.D. (June 5) – Kollin Hibdon brought a simple strategy into Saturday night’s 100-lap Iron Man main event for IMCA Modifieds at Dacotah Speedway. And after staying patient and “not burning stuff up,” the 17-year-old from Pahrump, Nev., had a career highlight-type win and $5,000 to show for his first visit to the quick North Dakota oval. “This was my biggest win ever. I’ve won $1,500 to win and $1,700 to win races but nothing over $2,000,” said Hibdon, who chased teammate Casey Arneson over the first half of the race, then caught and held off Jeremy Keller the last 21 laps. “I kept looking at the leader board late in the race and knew if I didn’t burn stuff up that I had a pretty good chance.” Arneson and Hibdon ran 1-2 to the mandatory caution at midway. Keller takes care of IMCA Modified business at Dacotah’s Iron Man

MANDAN, N.D. (June 3, 2023) – Jeremy Keller followed his game plan to the letter Saturday night at Dacotah Speedway. As a result, the two-time race runner-up became the first-time winner of Mandan’s 100-lap Iron Man main event for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds. “It was a long race but it went by fast. It was a big night for us, that’s for sure,” Keller said following the career-best $5,000 checkers. “We were determined. We tested stuff this spring to see how we could be most competitive at the end. Frank Brewer Memorial Expands to Two Nights at Cottage Grove Speedway July 24-25

(June 24, 2026) — One of Cottage Grove Speedway’s newest and most cherished traditions gets even bigger in 2026 as the Frank Brewer Memorial expands to a two-night format on July 24-25. The event honors longtime racer, car builder, sponsor, and tire distributor Frank Brewer, a fixture in the Cottage Grove racing community for decades. Brewer competed for more than 60 years, building and driving his own race cars. He began constructing race cars at age 14 and continued doing so until building his final car at age 90. White Holds Off Snellenberger for Eagle River Stock Car Victory

By Joe Verdegan EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (June 23, 2026) — Polesitter Trentin Bell appeared to be the driver to beat early in the 20-lap Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature Tuesday night at Eagle River Speedway. Dustin White quickly worked his way into second, but contact between the front-runners entering turn three sent Bell spinning in turn four. Bell was charged with the caution, handing the lead to White. White maintained control through a series of cautions and restarts. Following a restart with seven laps remaining, Rod Snellenberger charged into second and repeatedly challenged for the top spot. The pair traded momentum over the closing laps, but White turned back every challenge to score his second victory of the season in EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region competition. Both wins have come at Eagle River Speedway. Snellenberger rallied from 10th to finish second. Jeff Bodendorfer completed the podium in third, while Jordan Kurtti was fourth.
