Spahr On Rails at Hub City Oval to Win at Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (Apr. 11, 2026) — Logan Spahr had his car like it was on rails at Hagerstown Speedway Saturday, showing speed all night long by sweeping his heat and staying strong through the feature to take his first win of the season. Thirty-nine RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars signed in for the event, co-sanctioned by the Virginia Sprint Series, Pennsylvania Sprint Series, and the Laurel Highlands Sprint Series.

Logan Spahr and Ryan Lynn paced the field to green, with Spahr jumping out front as Jeff Miller and Mike Melair quickly closed in. Kenny Heffner, Ryan Lynn, and Ken Duke Jr. were all part of the lead pack early.

Spahr continued to lead with Miller staying close while Melair worked his way into second as the field shuffled for position behind them. After a yellow for a spin and a stalled car, the action resumed with Donnie Hendershot showing speed as he moved into second and set his sights on Spahr.

Hendershot closed the gap but ran out of laps as Spahr raced under the waving checkered flag to secure his first win of the season.

Hendershot finished second with Melair third. Duke crossed the line fourth, followed by Heffner.

Heat race wins went to Jake Gomola, Logan Spahr, Ken Duke Jr., and Jeff Weaver, while B Main victories went to Chris Dolan and Tyler Schell.

Worrell sees fireworks early at Langley Speedway

(June 30) – The annual July 4th holiday visit to Langley Speedway was early this year and after 30 fast laps, Glenn Worrell saw the fireworks in the form of a checkered flag first. Bill Rice and Worrell paced the field to green with Rice out first as Worrell stayed close; on lap two, Worrell drove hard into turn one and to the front. Tony Harris and Mike Leraas were quickly all over Rice for second, using the high line in their bid to get by. By lap four, Harris and Leraas went by Rice and the top three were soon together and going at it hard lap after lap. Worrell kept his car smooth as Harris was going low or high every lap to get an opening while keeping Leraas in third as well. Mullins saves best for last in Langley RaceSaver win

(July 2, 2022) – The annual Fourth of July Weekend event for the Virginia Sprint Series was a show case for patience as Matt Mullins led early, gave it up to save his tires and then blasted back by with a few laps to go for the win Saturday at Langley Speedway. Chris Humblet and Mullins had paced the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car field to green with Mullins out first and Humblet and Jerald Harris in tow. Mullins was smooth out front as Harris got to second and Billy Hubbard followed. Hubbard made it to second and took off like a jet after Mullins, who was catching the back of the pack as the pavement laps really clicked off. (Sept. 17, 2022) – Jerald Harris made it two Virginia Sprint Series feature wins in a row Saturday night, following his run to the checkers at Natural Bridge Speedway with the Saturday checkers at Shenandoah Speedway. The feature-only event had Caleb Harris and Bill Rice leading the field to green, with Rice out first and Harris closing in a couple laps while bringing Billy Hubbard along with him. Rice had a good line and kept them off until lap eight when Jerald Harris went high and made the pass stick. Hubbard kept working on Rice to make sure Harris didn’t get away and got a big run to second as quickly as he could. Iulg Stellar in MASS Opener at Bridgeport

(Apr. 11, 2026) — Tim Iulg of Bridgeton, New Jersey, opened the 10th anniversary season of the DCB Plumbing & Heating Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series presented by Capitol Renegade on a winning note by capturing the 25-lap A-Main on Saturday night at Bridgeport Speedway. Iulg withstood a late-race restart with just two laps remaining to defeat defending MASS champion Troy Betts by 0.568 seconds. Iulg and series rookie Tyler Grau brought the 20-car field to the start, with Iulg jumping out in front to pace the field. Eddie Wagner wasted no time getting by Grau and quickly took up the chase. While Iulg slowly expanded his lead, several battles were being waged behind the duo, including Troy Betts pressuring Grau for third. Sobbing Holds Off Late Charge for Thrilling IMCA Late Model Win at Park Jefferson

(Apr. 10, 2026) — The Sunoco IMCA Late Models set the tone for the night at Park Jefferson Speedway, with Jesse Sobbing of Malvern, Iowa taking the early lead from Jordan Krug. Sobbing paced the field but had to withstand a last-lap slider attempt from Zach Zeitner, holding on at the line for his first Late Model win of the year and his second Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly victory of 2026, following a Sunoco IMCA Stock Car score during the Beatrice Spring Nationals. Zeitner finished second, followed by Krug, Landen Rojewski, and Cody Thompson. The Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars delivered a strong run as Mike Vondrak led much of the feature before Dan Mackenthun went to work.
