Four essential elements play parts in Intercomp’s 30 seasons as IMCA sponsor

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (March 15, 2024) – The essentials to a successful 30-year partnership in the motorsports industry?

General Manager of Marketing Aaron Van Heel was happy to share as Intercomp begins its 30th season of IMCA sponsorship.

“There are four really great elements,” explained Van Heel, who’s been with Minneapolis, Minn.-headquartered Intercomp, manufacturer of The Official Scales of IMCA, for more than 20 of those seasons. “You have to have great racers, you have to have a great organization and you have to have a great sponsor.”

“And great fans, too. They make it all go round!”

Intercomp  gives $100 certificates good toward the purchase of RFX wireless scales or digital chassis setup equipment, to designated finishers at 30 selected Friesen Performance IMCA Modified special events, and to top 10 drivers in both EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and Southern regions for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.

2024 is Intercomp’s 21st season as part of IMCA’s national decal program for Stock Cars and all drivers in that division must display two Intercomp logos on their race car to be eligible for national and regional point fund shares.

Special events awards will be mailed during the season, point fund shares presented during the national banquet or mailed beginning the following week.

And champions crowned at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and RaceSaver Nationals, race of champions winners and the All-Star Invitational winners all receive digital angle gauges.

“Thirty years of sponsorship is a rare achievement. The support we’ve received from Intercomp for so many years as part of the Stock Car decal program and at Super Nationals are much appreciated as well,” noted IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm. “Intercomp certainly shares in the credit for the growth we have seen in Stock Car membership and sanctions.”

“IMCA is a great organization,” said Van Heel. “It’s been a pleasure to work with them.”
