Eight more earn eligibility for IMCA Fast Shafts All-Star qualifying

VINTON, Iowa (July 14, 2023) – Another eight Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers have earned Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational eligibility, with recent feature wins at qualifying weekly, special and special series events.

Weekly winners of $1,000 or more were Jordan Bartz, Ryan Duhme, Travis Hagen, Regan Tafoya and Fred Wojtek. Matt Werner won the mid-week show at Davenport, Brad Sites topped the NY-Penn Series feature at The Hill Speedway and Brad Sites was first to the checkers at Bakersfield Speedway’s McGowan Memorial.

Drivers already eligible winning qualifying events were Ricky Alvarado, Chaz Baca, Tom Berry Jr., Spencer Diercks, Jerry Flippo, Troy Foulger, Jacob Hobscheidt, Austin Kuehl, Jeremy Mills, Kody Scholpp, Kelly Shryock, Cody Thompson, Tim Ward, Jesse Williamson and Braxton Yeager.

The All-Star Invitational will be held Friday, Sept. 8 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Two rounds of fast time qualifying will be held during the Thursday, Sept. 7 program at Boone Speedway.

United States Motorsports Association builds new bridges at Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – The United State Motorsports Association will bring its bridge building efforts to Boone Speedway and the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The Mooresville, N.C.-based USMA will survey drivers and fans alike as part of a project to measure the economic impact the event has on the city, area and state. IMCA.TV broadcasts Prelude, Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – It’s not the experience of being at Boone Speedway in person but it’s so close you’ll almost be able to taste the dirt in the beer you’re drinking while watching at home. IMCA.TV returns to broadcast both the Sept. 4-5 Prelude and Sept. 6-11 IMCA Speedway Motors fueled by Casey’s. Package cost for each night of the Prelude and Super Nationals is $139.99, a 40 percent discount, and which includes the on-demand replay for all eight nights. The two-night Prelude package is available for $39.99. Nightly prices are $24.99 each night Sept. 4-7; $29.99 each night Sept. 8-10; and $39.99 for championship night on Saturday, Sept. 11. Warrior nominations sought for honorary starters of last-chance Modified features

BOONE, Iowa – IMCA drivers and fans are asked to Nominate A Warrior as an honorary starter for each of the three last-chance Modified features on Saturday, Sept. 7 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Current or former service members are eligible and letters or emails of nomination should be 500 words or less and tell about the nominee and their service to our country.  Nominations should be directed to Marketing Director Kevin Yoder at the IMCA home office or kyoder@imca.com. “We enjoy this opportunity to honor those who have or are currently serving our country in the armed forces,” Yoder said. “Super Nationals is our biggest event and it is a privilege for us to recognize them on championship day at Boone Speedway.” All three honorary starters will be recognized that afternoon when officials from Casey’s General Store and IMCA present a check to Hope For The Warriors.
