DAVENPORT, Iowa (May 10, 2023) – When the checkers fly Friday night at Davenport Speedway, the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main event winner will make his or her way to victory lane to accept a trophy and a $2,000 check.
The May 12 feature for The Class Too Tough To Tame also earns the winner B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. A minimum of $250 will be paid to start that race with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and Iowa State, but no track, points to be awarded.
IMCA Sunoco Late Models race for $700 to win, Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds for $600 and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods for $500 to win that evening.
Pits open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow 6:30 p.m. hot laps. Spectator admission is $18 for adults, $5 for kids ages 5-12 and free for four and under. Pit passes are $30 for adults and $15 for kids ages 12 and under.
The Wednesday, May 17 Race Night in America show at Davenport sports a $1,000, Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational feature.
