Mod Lites of Arkansas racing for $2,000 at inaugural Mid-South Nationals

MARION, Ark. – The sky’s the limit this season for STARS Mod Lites of Arkansas. The club-run series will be IMCA sanctioned for the first time, with 15 race dates scheduled at home track I-30 Speedway and five other Arkansas and Mississippi venues. “We’re averaging about 24 cars a night and the class has been continually growing. PLUMERVILLE, Ark. (March 27) – 2023 for the Mod Lites of Arkansas will start new faces, new places, and a new home track. With the closure of I-30 Speedway, Central Arkansas Motor Speedway in Plumerville becomes the official home for the IMCA series for the 2023 season. “We’re very excited for 2023. We have some new racers, new cars, new sponsors, new tracks to visit for the first time in addition to our long time favorites. HARRISBURG, Ark. – Mod Lites of Arkansas return to Old No. 1 Speedway this Saturday for a $500 to win, minimum $100 to start main event. More than 30 IMCA STARS Mod Lite drivers from a five-state area are expected to compete in the June 19 show at Harrisburg. Entry fee is $15.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with pre-tech to follow.
