OSBORN, Mo. (March 22, 2022) – The roar of the engines can be heard this Sunday, March 27 at US 36 Raceway as the Missouri speedplant kicks off 2022 with the first of two open practice days.
Pit passes are $25 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under; grandstand admission is free.
The second of two practice days will be April 2, also from 1-5 p.m. with pit admission the same as for the first practice session.
By Rick Staley OSBORN, Mo. (June 23, 2023) – Tyler Furrell was the Friday night star at US 36 Raceway, recording his career first Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite feature win. Furrell and James Beebe got out front at the drop of the green. Justin Raffurty challenged the front pair but neither were shaken and continued to battle up front as the always fast Dillon Raffurty made his march forward. As the laps wound down, Furrell continued to hold off all challengers and picked up his first-ever feature win with two-time defending national champion Dillon Raffurty a close second. Beebe showed a lot of speed in a solid third place showing with Michael Raffurty and Justin Raffurty completing the top five.
OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway is set to open the season this Friday, April 5 with the start of the season championship chase. Four sanctioned divisions will begin championship battles. Opening night will feature the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. U.S. 36 has used the offseason to make numerous improvements to the race track. This season U.S. 36 will use transponders to score each race, while also making live timing and scoring available to race fans and crews via the MyRacePass app. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday, with the grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m. Hot laps begin at 7:30 p.m. and racing will start at 8 p.m. Pit passes for the event are $35. General admission is $15, senior and military is $12, children 7-12 are $5 and children six years old and younger are free. By Jacob Blair OSBORN, Mo. (June 7) – With $1,000 on the line Friday night at US 36 Raceway, the IMCA Modifieds battled for 20 laps before the top check had a recipient. Chad Clancy led only the last lap but took home the big money and earned a berth on the Fast Shafts All-Star ballot with the victory. Cory Wray had to settle for second while Scott Brown came back from an early race incident to finish third. Clay Hale and Jim Masoner Jr. made up the rest of the top five. After several early cautions, Wray and Clancy settled into the top two spots. Both ran the bottom of the track. Clancy could roll the center of the corner better than everyone on the race track but couldn’t get the drive off to move to the inside of the leader.
