IMCA Modifieds, Northern SportMods Brawl this weekend at Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa (March 20, 2024) – Jeff Struck puts a check on his bucket list this season, as the new promoter at Davenport Speedway. The former driver and now Davenport business owner takes charge at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds venue, where IMCA Sunoco Late Models, Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods will run on Friday nights. DAVENPORT, Iowa – The first green flag of the season flies this Friday at Davenport Speedway, with three IMCA divisions on the May 15 card. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Late Models and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods will be featured at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, state at track points will be awarded. No spectators will be allowed in the grandstand and a maximum of 10 people will be allowed with each car in the pit area. Social distancing will be in effect and track officials recommend that masks be worn when drivers and/or crew are away from their area in the pits.  Pits open at 3 p.m. and hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
