Big money on line in Little Rock with I-30’s IMCA STARS Mod Lite Short Track Nationals

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Big money is on the line this weekend in Little Rock.

I-30 Speedway’s IMCA STARS Mod Lite Short Track Nationals Friday and Saturday, Sept. 17 and 18 pays $6,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start, with a strong field of drivers from across the country and across town already entered. 

Title sponsor of the third annual event is Bumper to Bumper of Little Rock. 

Pit gates open at 6 p.m. and practice runs ‘til 9 p.m. Thursday night. Pit passes are $15 that evening. 

Early entry is $150 or $170 at the gates: Gates open and pre-tech starts at 5 p.m. Friday with racing at 7:30 p.m. There will be a pill draw for heats that evening and all heat winners qualify for the main event. 

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and racing is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Last-chance races set the grid for the 30-lap main event that night.

Pit passes are $30 Friday and Saturday. Non-qualifier money will be paid on Saturday.
