BOONE, Iowa – A super hero fan hopes to be a super hero himself at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

IMCA Modified driver Tyler Wilson of Little Suamico, Wis., begins his quest for a Super Nationals crown this evening, rolling off from outside row three in the 14th heat race. His 2016 LG2 Chassis incorporates Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian on Disney Plus while his helmet displays the logo from the MCU’s Avengers.

“What I like best about Super Nationals is the non-stop racing. You don’t stop,” said Wilson, who made the trip to Boone Speedway with his father Troy. “Plus the pure competition. There are so many good drivers here.”

Wilson ran a SportMod and Hobby Stock before getting into a Modified. The track champion at Outagamie Speedway and runner-up to Benji LaCrosse at The ‘Burg Speedway, he owns two sanctioned wins this season.

While Wilson will run for a berth in the Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions, he’s keeping his eyes on Super Nationals’ biggest prize.

“We want to win it,” he said of the Saturday night dance.
