$250 Sunoco bonus Friday night in Davenport

VINTON, Iowa – Extra money is on the line for the potential winner of the main event for IMCA Sunoco Late Models this Friday at Davenport.

The next installment of the $250 Sunoco Race Fuels bonus will be paid to the August 13 Late Model winner at Davenport Speedway. 

Sunoco bonuses will be presented at IMCA Late Model sanctioned tracks in 2021. Drivers are eligible for one bonus during the racing season. Winners so far this year have been Matt Ryan at 300 Raceway in Farley, followed by Sean Johnson at Independence Motor Speedway, Andy Eckrich at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Ron Klein at Dubuque Speedway, Kyle Prauner at U.S. 30 Speedway in Columbus, Chase Osborne at Boone County Raceway in Albion, Brock Carlson at Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, and most recently to Dave Eckrich last Friday night at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson. 

IMCA will announce mid-week before the dates bonuses are to be awarded at each track.

IMCA Modifieds, Northern SportMods join Weekend Bash card at Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa – A pair of $1,000 to win features for IMCA Modifieds are on Thursday, Aug. 26 and Friday, Aug. 27 Weekend Bash race programs at Davenport Speedway. Winners of both events become eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational, with a minimum of $100 paid to start and $75 tow.  Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods also race both nights, for $750 to win, a minimum of $75 to start and $50 tow.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded both nights. Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing to follow.  Pit passes are $35 on Thursday and $40 on Friday. Adult grandstand admission is $30 on Thursday and $35 on Friday. Kids ages 12 and under get in free.

IMCA Modifieds, Stocks, Northern SportMods join March 24, 25 Thaw Brawls at Davenport 

DAVENPORT, Iowa (March 20, 2023) – Three IMCA divisions join Friday and Saturday Thaw Brawl shows at Davenport Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $600 to win March 24 and 25, while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods chase $500 top checks both nights. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis North Central and EQ Cylinder Heads Northern regional, and Iowa State points will be awarded.  Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Racing follows 6:30 p.m. hot laps. Adult grandstand admission is $30. Gates open at 2 p.m., the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. hot laps precede racing on Saturday. Grandstand admission for adults is $35 that evening. $250 Sunoco bonuses for winners at Farley, Davenport and Marshalltown this week

VINTON, Iowa – The paydays get even better this week for a trio of IMCA Sunoco Late Model feature winners.  It begins Wednesday evening at 300 Raceway in Farley as the IMCA Late Model winner pockets an extra $250 courtesy of Sunoco Race Fuels. Thursday night the bonus moves to Davenport Speedway, and the night begins with last Friday’s make-up feature. Then the pot gets richer as the next $250 Sunoco Race Fuels bonus of the season will be paid to the scheduled June 25 IMCA Late Model winner. The final bonus of the week will be presented Friday night at Marshalltown Speedway. Double Late Model features are also on the card at Marshalltown, with the $250 Sunoco bonus presented to the night’s second feature winner – the evening’s originally scheduled feature.
