TIPTON, Iowa – The IMCA Modified winner at the July 14 Cedar County Fair special goes home with a prize that’s better than a blue ribbon.
The Wednesday night main event at Cedar County Raceway in Tipton is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier, paying $2,000 to win, a minimum of $130 to start and $60 tow. IMCA STARS Mod Lite are also on the card, racing for $250 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and KMJ Performance Iowa State points will be awarded.
There is no entry fee and pit passes are $30. Pit gates open at 3 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.
Admission to the fairgrounds is $10 for adults and $5 for kids; grandstand admission is free.
