CPT continues growth, special events awards for IMCA Modified, Northern SportMod drivers

SONOMA, Calif. – A California company that’s “growing crazy fast” continues an awards program benefitting IMCA Modified and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods for a fourth season in 2021.

CPT Racing Manufacturing of Sonoma, owned by long-time IMCA Modified driver Chris Compton, gives $50 gift certificates to a top five finisher at 45 designated specials for the two divisions.

“We have doubled our shop space and bought another CNC lathe to help with production,” said Compton, noting the recent addition of OD spring cups and GM rear bushings to CPT’s product line. “I’m grateful to IMCA for helping me grow. They’ve supported me and I am supporting them.”

“We are growing crazy fast,” Compton continued. “Without IMCA, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

CPT manufactures birdcages and an extensive line of other dirt track specialty products, including pullbars and polyurethane biscuits. Product certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office the week after official race results are received.

Information about CPT products is available by calling 707 515-0226, on Facebook and at the cptracingmfg.com website.

“It has been great working with Chris the past few years and we’re pleased to see the growth of CPT in IMCA circles,” said Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for IMCA. “He does a great job servicing IMCA racers and getting them what they need to enhance their racing program.”
