GREENVILLE, Texas – A class James Bryant had a hand in helping get started runs under the IMCA banner at his Superbowl Speedway this season.
Nine Saturday dates for IMCA STARS Mod Lites are on the 2021 schedule at Greenville, with the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season running from March 20 to Aug. 28.
“I helped get this class going around here and we’ve always Mod Lites 3-5 times a year,” said veteran promoter Bryant. “When they called and asked if we wanted to sanction with IMCA, the answer was yes.”
Plans for a Mod Lite special at Superbowl are in the works. Bryant notes that the division is already a favorite with his fans
“They’ve been popular here for a long time,” he said. “I like the class because the racing is exciting and they have a good bunch of drivers. They’re nice people.”
