U.S. 30 hosts 24th annual Abe Lincoln Memorial Sept. 18-19

COLUMBUS, Neb. – Abe’s U.S. 30 Speedway hosts its 24th annual Abe Lincoln Memorial with four IMCA divisions running on Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19 programs. 

IMCA Sunoco Late Models race for $615 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both for $515 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $315 to win on opening night. 

IMCA Modifieds are in the running for $1,015 to win their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier on Saturday. Stock Cars and SportMods also race for top checks of $1,015 while the Hobby Stock features pays $515 to win. 

At stake both nights of the draw/redraw weekend are IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, regional and KMJ Performance State points. Registration fee is $25 and pit passes are $30. 

Hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. on Friday; hot laps start at 5:30 p.m. with the first green flag set for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. 

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $10 for ages 6-17 and free for five and under.
