Five IMCA divisions head to High Banks for Showdown at MoTown

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Drivers in five IMCA divisions battle it out on the High Banks of Marshalltown Speedway, at the Sept. 4 Showdown at MoTown.

IMCA Modifieds chase a $1,000 top check in their 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts – the 4-cylinder class is new to the card – both for $300 to win.

There is no entry fee and pit passes are $30. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded.

Pit gates open at 5:15 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:55 p.m. with racing to follow.

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and free for kids ages 10 and under.

Arnold Motor Supply Dirt Knights Tour opener moves to Marshalltown

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – With hopes that the third time will be a charm, opening night for the Arnold Motor Supply Dirt Knights Tour moves to Marshalltown Speedway. Traveling IMCA Modifieds race for $2,000 to win their Tuesday, June 4 main event. A Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth is at stake, as are IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region, E3 Spark Plugs State and special series points. McBirnie takes Highbanks after the Creek Stock Car win

Night at the Races Friday and Jake McBirnie raced to the $2,000 Highbanks After the Creek IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win on at Marshalltown Speedway. Jake McBirnie led the field to green for the contest and that was all she wrote, as he paced all 30 laps on his way to victory lane and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star qualifying eligibility. McBirnie was chased most of the distance by Chelsea Charger Damon Murty, but on this night Murty had to be satisfied with the runner-up spot. Kaden Reynolds ripped the lip of the track in the latter portion of the race in an attempt to gain ground but had to be content with third. IMCA STARS Mod Lites have May 27-29 Cornbelt Clash dates

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (May 23, 2022) – IMCA STARS Mod Lites race for $500 to win each night of their Cornbelt Clash tripleheader over the Memorial Weekend. Features Friday, May 27 at Marshalltown Speedway, Saturday, May 28 at Boone Speedway and Sunday, May 29 at Stuart Speedway all pay a minimum of $100 to start. Yoshimura bonuses of $250, $150 and $100 will be paid to top three eligible finishers on Sunday; hard chargers each night also receive a certificate for a STARS plated tire from Hooser. Jet Racing celebrates 28 years of IMCA sponsorship

Czarneski conquers Stock Car feature at Casa Grande

The Denmark, Wisconsin driver delivered a stellar performance at Central Arizona Raceway, seizing the lead on lap nine and holding off all challengers to take the checkered flag. The race began with Jason Berg asserting himself as the early leader, setting a strong pace through the opening laps.
