Five IMCA divisions head to High Banks for Showdown at MoTown

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Drivers in five IMCA divisions battle it out on the High Banks of Mar­shalltown Speedway, at the Sept. 4 Showdown at MoTown. 

IMCA Modifieds chase a $1,000 top check in their 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot quali­fier. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts – the 4-cylinder class is new to the card – both for $300 to win. 

There is no entry fee and pit passes are $30. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded.

Pit gates open at 5:15 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:55 p.m. with racing to follow.

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and free for kids ages 10 and under.
