HAYS, Kan. – IMCA Modifieds and touring IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars chase $1,000 top checks both nights of RPM Speedway’s June 13-14 Mike Hughes Memorial Sunflower Classic.
A minimum of $125 will be paid to start each Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying feature for the Modifieds. Both Sprint Car features are United Rebel Sprint Series Tour events.
Saturday and Sunday features for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars pay $400 to win. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $300 to win, Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200 to win.
Both shows are draw/redraw and racing starts at 5 p.m. each day. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, state and track points will be awarded.
Entry fee for Modifieds only is $25 each night. Reserved pit parking will be honored and all Sprint Cars will pit in the north extended area to the west of the pit trailer.
Make-up features for Modifieds and Hobby Stocks rained out on May 24 will be first on the opening night program.
Pit passes are $30 and or $10 for kids ages 12 and under accompanying a parent or guardian. Spectator admission is $15 and free for accompanied kids 12 and under.
Pits will open at 2 p.m. each day, the grandstand at 3 p.m.
