Roach, Shaw win on opening night at Longdale

LONGDALE, Okla. (April 8) – Mike Roach and Hesston Shaw were victorious Saturday night at Longdale Speedway, which hosted its first official race since October 2017.

Roach powered from fourth to score the Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod checkers. Brandon Kenny ended in the runner-up position with Jarod Baird third, Robert Elliott fourth and Joe Adams fifth.

Shaw advanced from his fifth starting position to outlast 10^th -starting Austin Bonner in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main event. Landon Maddox finished third with Travis Baird fourth and Steve Blunk fifth.
