Perris residents get free admission to PAS fireworks show on July 4

PERRIS, Calif. – It’s so much more than just a fireworks show.

The annual July 4 Salute to America Sky Concert at the Perris Auto Speedway features a professionally choreographed fireworks display with all the fabulous color bursts guaranteed to produce choruses of “oohs” and “aaahhs” from the audience. It’s accompanied with patriotic music and John Wayne’s emotional oration of “Why I Love Her,” the Duke’s tribute to America.

The City of Perris once again is partnering with the speedway allowing residents to view the Sky Concert for free with proof of residence like a driver’s license or utility bill.

Every Perris family will receive four free tickets to the speedway. Gates to the world-famous half-mile dirt track open at 4 p.m. on July 4. Perris Auto Speedway is located at 18700 Lake Perris Drive. The concert begins at 9 p.m. The first 5,000 spectators will receive free American flags.

Speedway promoter Don Kazarian said that in addition to the 4,000 to 5,000 Perris residents expected to watch the show from the grandstands, hundreds of cars line both sides of roads leading to the racetrack, allowing thousands of additional residents and visitors to view the spectacle.

“Perris residents are already asking about the July 4 show,” Kazarian said. “The City of Perris and the track have worked for more than 10 years to provide this extravaganza. It’s been a great partnership. We love hosting our neighbors on our nation’s birthday. Without doubt this is one of the best fireworks shows in Riverside County. No facility has a sound system like the PAS.”
