FORT DODGE, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and more than $9,000 has been added to the purse for Sunday’s Attig & Hobbs Weather Page Chase Race at Sports Park Raceway.
The May 27 Modified main is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot-qualifying event and pays a minimum of $80 to start. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $700 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $600 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $300 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Iowa State points, but no track points will be awarded. There is no entry fee.
Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the drivers’ meeting is at 5:40 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with racing to follow. Pit passes are $25 for ages 15 and up, $15 for ages 14 and under.
Spectator admission is $10 for adults, $8 for military with ID and seniors ages 60 and up, $4 for ages 7-13 and free for six and under.
