Garnhart, Soppe score at Dubuque

DUBUQUE, Iowa (May 6) – Sunday’s Merfeld Brothers Auto IMCA Modifieds feature at Dubuque Speedway was another nail biter as several drivers took their turns at the front.

Bryce Garnhart battled with Austin Moyer for much of the 20-lap main event before crossing under the checkers ahead of Moyer. Last week’s winner Jason Schueller turned in another fine run in taking third.

Defending IMCA national champion Tyler Soppe scored the feature win in the 18-lap GSI Collision Specialists Northern Sportmod main event.

Soppe fought to the front from a fourth row start to score the win ahead of early leader Justin Becker. Scott Busch followed up last week’s win with a third place finish.

Dubuque checkers fly for Callahan

By Jerry Mackey DUBUQUE, Iowa (June 3) – Joel Callahan topped the strong field of IMCA Modified drivers in in scoring the 20-lap feature win Sunday at Dubuque Speedway. Callahan took the lead near midway and held off Tyler Madigan at the checkers. Troy Bauer followed up a feature win at Farley Speedway on Friday night with another victory in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. Bauer took the win over always tough Tyler Soppe. Sunday, June 10 will be Fan Appreciation night at Dubuque with everything half price, including admission and all concessions. In addition, a pre-race car show will be held beginning at 4:30 p.m. All kids will be given autograph books courtesy of the Richardson Motors Kids Club. Drivers will have cars on display and will be signing autographs prior to the races.

Garnhart speeds to Smokey Rupp Memorial win

The defending track champion put the pedal down on the restart and cruised to the 25-lap Smokey Rupp Memorial Merfeld Brothers IMCA Modified win Sunday at Dubuque Speedway. Deery Series begins drive to 500th event with Davenport, Maquoketa, Dubuque dates

DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 4) – A rich weekend kicks off the Deery Brothers Summer Series’ history-making 33rd season. Opening night takes the IMCA Late Model tour to Davenport Speedway for the $5,000 to win Rebel 5K next Friday, April 12. Clem Charges to Cliff Chambers Memorial Mod Lite Victory at Marshalltown

The Bakersfield, California driver started mid-pack and methodically worked his way to the front to earn his fifth win of the year at four different tracks in three different states—and his first victory of the season at Marshalltown. Dillon Raffurty advanced from ninth to finish second, while Austin Gray completed the podium. Bryan Zehm was fourth, followed by Josh May. Henry Comes Out on Top in Hard-Fought Cottage Grove SportMod Feature

(May 2, 2026) — Jordan Henry prevailed in a hard-fought 25-lap Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature at Cottage Grove Speedway, earning his first win of the season after a race filled with intense battles and constant position changes. Ricky Ashley, in the T.R. Points Trucking-provided No. 8511, won the race to the line on the opening lap ahead of Justin Morgan and quickly built a sizable advantage. Lapped traffic came into play by lap nine, allowing Morgan to close in while also holding off defending track champion Aaron Bloom. Bloom moved into second on lap 11 and challenged for the lead, but contact between the front runners allowed Morgan to take over the top spot the next time around. Debenedetti Navigates Traffic for SportMod Season-Opening Win at Southern Oregon

(May 2, 2026) — Fresh off a heat race victory earlier in the night, Vinny Debenedetti led the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods to green in the 2026 season-opening main event at Southern Oregon Speedway. The field completed just one lap before trouble erupted on lap two. Logan McKnight and Ryder Boswell tangled on the front stretch while battling for position, collecting Cory Biggs in turn one. McKnight suffered heavy damage, and all three drivers were done for the night. On the restart, more issues followed as John Wilson spun exiting turn two, collecting Blake Peery and Connor Franklin. Peery and Wilson became locked together and had to be separated by the safety crew, ending the night for both. Another caution came on lap six when Lyle Yaeger spun.
