Garnhart, Soppe score at Dubuque

DUBUQUE, Iowa (May 6) – Sunday’s Merfeld Brothers Auto IMCA Modifieds feature at Dubuque Speedway was another nail biter as several drivers took their turns at the front.

Bryce Garnhart battled with Austin Moyer for much of the 20-lap main event before crossing under the checkers ahead of Moyer. Last week’s winner Jason Schueller turned in another fine run in taking third.

Defending IMCA national champion Tyler Soppe scored the feature win in the 18-lap GSI Collision Specialists Northern Sportmod main event.

Soppe fought to the front from a fourth row start to score the win ahead of early leader Justin Becker. Scott Busch followed up last week’s win with a third place finish.

Hurst hoists winner’s trophy at Dubuque

By Rob Hinckley DUBUQUE, Iowa (May 12) – He tried high and low. The latter worked in the end for Jeremiah Hurst. The Dubuque ace slid by early leader Terry Neal after a caution and won the 25-lap Eichman’s Bar and Grill IMCA Late Model season opener Sunday evening at Dubuque Speedway. “They (his crew) were down at the turn waving me to stay low and it worked,” the defending national champion said from Hoker Trucking Victory Lane. “The car was great. The track was great. It was a special night.” The track, under new promoter Trackside Promotions, finally got the opener on the fifth try due to bad weather through April and first weekend of May. Andy Nezworski also got by Neal for the runner-up spot. Matt Ryan and Jeff Tharp rounded out the top five. Dubuque Speedway opens with Schueller, Busch winners

By Jerry Mackey DUBUQUE, Iowa (April 29) – The 2018 racing season is officially underway at the Dubuque Speedway with opening night action being held on Sunday, April 29. Jason Schueller served notice that winning the track championship in 2017 was only incentive to repeat in the very tough IMCA Modified division. Schueller drove his new Rage chassis to the 20-lap feature win ahead of Mark Schulte and Tyler Madigan. Scott Busch used his front row start to his advantage in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and earned the opening night feature win. Busch led flag to flag in scoring the win ahead of Jerry Miles and Tyler Soppe.

Hurst reigns at Dubuque

Jeremiah Hurst has won many, but the season championship at his hometown Dubuque Speedway is always special. Hurst started eighth but made his run to the front quick, taking the point for good on lap five and won the Eichman’s Bar & Grill IMCA Late Model 25-lapper Sunday evening at Dubuque Speedway. “It’s always special to win here,” Hurst said. “We’ll just keep winning. The finale had to go to overdrive/overtime as runner-up Joel Callahan slammed the turn two wall and finally stopped on turn four as the white flag was ready to fly. South Texas IMCA Modified Series Ready for Sophomore Season

SAN ANTONIO (Mar. 14, 2025) — Race fans, get ready — the South Texas IMCA Modified Series is back for an action-packed second season in 2025! Ten races at five Lone Star State tracks are scheduled, starting March 28 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway near Waco, followed by I-37 Speedway in Pleasanton on March 29. Chris Tuchscherer: From the Octagon to the Race Track

BURLINGTON, N.D. (Mar. 12, 2025) — North Dakota’s Chris Tuchscherer knows how to race hard, achieve success, and persevere. His competitive drive stems from a background in wrestling, which began in his high school hometown of Bowman. Spring Nationals Rescheduled to March 20-22, 2025, Due to Weather Concerns

BEATRICE, Neb. – (Mar. 12, 2025) – Due to uncertainty surrounding the weather forecast and expected cold temperatures on Saturday, March 15, the 32nd Annual Spring Nationals at Beatrice Speedway has been rescheduled to March 20-22.
