BEATRICE, Neb. – Five IMCA divisions are featured at Beatrice Speedway’s season-ending Septemberfest special this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22-23.
IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win their opening night qualifier, with the top four finishers locked into Saturday’s $2,000 to win main event. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Jet Racing Central Region and Allstar Performance State points, as well as a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot bid, are at stake on Saturday.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $500 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200 to win each night. National, regional and state points will be awarded Friday and Saturday in those four divisions.
Nightly entry fees of $50 for Modifieds, $25 for Stock Cars, SportMods and Hobby Stocks, and $10 for Sport Compacts can be mailed to the speedway office at PO Box 753 in Beatrice, 68310.
An open practice runs from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday, with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m.
Pit passes are $10 on Thursday and $30 Friday and Saturday.
