PEYTON, Colo. – The BST CAT Tour for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars has two doubleheaders to finish out the season, first at El Paso County Raceway on Aug. 26 and 27 and at Phillips County Raceway on Sept. 29 and 30.

The new kid on the tour block is Lonnie Cox, a former retired racer from Arizona, who trails Wyoming’s Zac Taylor by a 152-151 margin.

Cox has taken a win at El Paso County Raceway and a second at Phillips County behind Darren Berry of Nebraska, while Taylor has taken two wins at I-76 Speedway.

During the July 21 tour heat races at El Paso County Raceway, Cox got into the wall and Taylor came in third. Lineups looked good for the young Taylor, however the event rained out before the feature race started.  These feature races will be made up on Aug. 27.

Rounding out the top five in points for the BST CAT Tour are Todd Pudwill, Ryan Ellinger and Nic Sutton. Fans can expect exciting Sprint Car racing action between these competitors.

BST CAT events are on schedules at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke and I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan.
