Two IMCA Modified features at Lovelock’s Frontier Days 

LOVELOCK, Nev. – Two IMCA Modified features are on the schedule during Lovelock Speedway’s Friday and Saturday, Aug. 4-5 Frontier Days.

Presenting the 40-lap features are the Nile Valley Race Club and Pershing County Rec Board. A field of 15 or more cars races for $750 to win on opening night while a field of 20 or more vies for $1,000 to win and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth on night two.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region, Allstar Performance State and track points are at stake both nights.

Car and driver is $60 each day and pit passes are $25.

Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $8 for sen­iors, military personnel and students ages 11-15, and free for kids 10 and under. A family package (two adults and two children ages 11-15) is $30, with additional children ad­mitted for half price.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. both nights.
