Anderson captures career 300th IMCA Hobby Stock win

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (June 14) – Shannon Anderson raced to his career 300th IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature win Wednesday, on Kraig Ford Night at Southern Iowa Speedway.

The KBOE Radio/Mahaska Bottling 14-lap feature brought the show to a close. Jared Stephens and Ryan Wells led the field to the green and it was Stephens taking the early race lead

Mike Kincaid started sixth and Anderson started ninth. Both worked their way through the field, Kincaid took the lead on lap six before Anderson got the front spot for good the next time around.

Anderson went on to take his sixth win at Osky, his 18th win of the season and 300th IMCA Hobby Stock feature win.

Scott Dickey led all 14 laps of the Musco Lighting IMCA Modified feature while Curtis VanDerWal made the most of an early restart in winning the Oskaloosa True Value IMCA Northern SportMod main event.

Nathan Wood held off all challengers in the Budweiser IMCA Stock Car headliner and Bryan Claussen went home with the Kelli Steil State Farm IMCA Sport Compacts trophy.
