DUBUQUE, Iowa (June 11) – Driver/Fan Appreciation night at Dubuque Speedway on Sunday featured free grandstand admission for race fans who were treated to a Merfeld Brothers IMCA Modified feature that brought the night to a close in spectacular fashion.

Jed Freiburger led late in the race and was working the extreme high side of the multi-grooved oval. Tyler Madigan made a late-race charge on the bottom of the track and came into turn four on the final lap dead even with Freiburger.

Madigan found a little extra coming off turn four and took the thrilling win over Freiburger by all of half a car length. Mark Schulte advanced from a fifth row start to take third ahead of Dakota Hayden.

The Out-Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Model 25-lap feature win went to Dan Shelliam. Shelliam went to the very top side and sailed to the win over Joel Callahan and Jeremiah Hurst.

Tyler Soppe continued his recent hot streak in the GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Northern SportMods in scoring his eighth consecutive feature win.

Greg Gill made the tow from Muscatine pay off as he garnered the win in the Bakey Seamless Gutters IMCA Stock Cars.
