VINTON, Iowa – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $1,500 to win and IMCA Modifieds for $1,000 to win at the Sunday, June 11 Iowa Donor Network and Urbana 5 Memorial Night at Benton County Speedway.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $500 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400. IMCA Late Models complete the sanctioned portion of the program.
All applicable points, including track, will be awarded in all divisions and the Modified feature is a qualifying event for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $25 and there are no entry fees.
Prizes will be given to fans and the Iowa Donor Network will have a booth where potential tissue donors can sign up. The Iowa Donor Network receives half the proceeds of the evening’s 50/50 drawing.
Urbana 5 merchandise will be available and sales will help fund five $500 scholarships, three to graduates of Center Point-Urbana High School and two to graduates of Vinton-Shellsburg.
The Modified winner receives a new wrap from Colby Heishman, who also gives $100 gift cards to the Modified, Northern SportMod, Stock Car and Hobby Stock hard chargers.
