BANKS, Ore. (May 6) – After the entire month of April was cancelled due to constant rain show­ers Sunset Speedway Park finally was able to record the first race of 2017 on Saturday.

Bubba Foster opened up his winning account in his first SSP appearance of the campaign in the Budweiser IMCA Modified ranks.

Shane Mills was the runner-up while Todd Newton, Kristi Somers and Craig Cassell completed the top five.
