Montezuma County readies for IMCA Stock Car Rumble In The Rockies 

CORTEZ, Colo. – Big paydays for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are on the line both nights of Montezuma County Fairgrounds Speedway’s season-opening Rumble In The Rockies special.

The Friday, April 21 feature pays $750 to win while a top prize of $1,000 is on the line on Saturday, April 22. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region, Allstar Performance State and track points will be given both nights.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 7 p.m. with racing at dusk. Pit passes are $30 and pill draw is $20.

Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Family passes are $25.
