Tyler Dominates Sumter for First Carolina Sprint Tour Victory

By Evan McCrory SUMTER, S.C. (July 11, 2026) — Robert Tyler turned a front-row starting spot into a breakthrough victory Saturday night, leading all 25 laps to earn his first career Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis triumph at Sumter Speedway. After advancing into the redraw with a runner-up finish in his heat race, Tyler, of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, lined up alongside Jake McLain for the start of the feature. McLain found speed around the cushion on the opening lap, but Tyler powered ahead on the bottom groove entering turn three to secure the lead. Once out front, Tyler delivered a flawless drive. He expertly worked through lapped traffic while never allowing McLain or the rest of the field to mount a serious challenge. The victory continued a breakout summer for Tyler, who recently earned his first career Sprint Car win with the Virginia Sprint Series. McLain finished second, while George Loux completed the podium in third. Josh Shantz crossed the line fourth, and hometown driver Derrek Treece rounded out the top five.

Zogg Seals Cedar County Fair Thriller with Last-Lap Pass

By Jerry Mackey TIPTON, Iowa (July 9, 2026) — Chris Zogg made the winning move at exactly the right time, taking the lead down the backstretch on the final lap to capture a thrilling Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature Thursday night during the Cedar County Fair at Cedar County Raceway. Mark Schulte controlled the majority of the main event, but the closing laps saw the front-runners tighten into a four-car battle for the lead. As the field took the white flag, three drivers remained in contention for the victory. Zogg, who started third, found an opening on the backstretch of the final circuit and surged into the lead before racing on to the checkered flag. The victory was the New Liberty racer’s third Razor Chassis North Central Region triumph of the 2026 season and his first at Cedar County Raceway this year. Jace Whitt, who charged forward from the 10th starting position, finished second, while Schulte settled for third after leading most of the distance. Austin Stamm crossed the stripe fourth, with Matt Werner completing the [Read More]

Czarneski Snaps Berry’s Streak with Win at Jamestown; Berry Claims Third Dakota Tour Crown

By Ben Deatherage JAMESTOWN, N.D. (July 10, 2026) — Cole Czarneski denied Tom Berry Jr. a perfect Dakota Classic Modified Tour powered by Industrial Electric, leading all 30 laps Friday night at Jamestown Speedway to earn his first career Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified tour victory. While Berry settled for second after winning the previous four rounds, the Marshalltown, Iowa, driver wrapped up his third career Dakota Tour championship after another dominant week. The 2024 Wisconsin State champion from Denmark, Wisconsin, jumped to the lead at the drop of the green and immediately established himself as the driver to beat. A caution on lap six erased his early advantage, but Czarneski quickly rebuilt his lead after the restart. Berry, the two-time Dakota Tour champion and 2020 IMCA Modified national champion, climbed into second on lap eight and spent the remainder of the race trying to reel in the leader. Although Berry stayed within striking distance, Czarneski remained composed, slicing through lapped traffic before another caution on lap 21 erased his comfortable margin. Berry stayed close over the [Read More]
