JEFFERSON, S.D. (July 10) – Five drivers raced to victory lane Sunday at Raceway Park.

Jason Ward took his first local checkered flag of the season in the Casey’s General Stores IMCA Stock Car feature.  Ward took the lead on lap three and held off Chris Mills for the second half of the race, with Mills chasing the outside line while Ward stayed glued to the inside.

Aaron Cain had a strong run for third followed by Zach Ankrum in his best performance of the season.

The Total Motors IMCA Modified feature saw Jim Cole taking the win. Cole went past early leader Bob Moore on the sixth lap, but the excitement started when Ricky Stephan moved into second with 10 laps remaining.

Stephan hounded Cole with both fighting for inside position entering the turns. Cole never gave up that inside line en route to the victory followed closely by Stephan, with Moore and Jason Schneiders rounding out the top four.

The Car Quest IMCA Hobby Stock ended with David Miller taking the checkered flag over Craig Clift. Aaron Shearn completed a frantic run from the rear of the field to finish third followed by Jon Androy.

Karl Brewer took the win in the MOPAR IMCA Northern SportMod feature. Darin Roepke, Rusty Montagne and Kaleb Kennedy rounded out the top four.

Ramsey Meyer took the KISS 101.7 FM IMCA Sport Compact win, followed by Don Tank, Luke Jackson and David Bates.
