DUBUQUE, Iowa (June 19) –The headliner of the Sunday night Fathers’ Day show at Dubuque Speedway was the 25-lap Out-Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Model feature.

Luke Goedert advanced from a second row start to take the lead early. While Goedert worked low, Dan Shelliam was riding the high side to pull even. Shelliam took over the point and led for five laps before getting too high in turn two scraping the wall.

Goedert went on to lead the rest of the feature for the win while Shelliam recovered to finish second. Bobby Hansen crossed under the checkers in third.

The Merfeld Brothers Automotive IMCA Modifieds delighted the fans with plenty of wheel to wheel racing in their 20-lap feature. Tyler Madigan led the majority of the main event before one slight miscue allowed Ryan DeShaw to get inside and take the lead on the white flag lap.

DeShaw scored the win ahead of Madigan and Mark Schulte took third.

The GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Northern SportMod class saw history made on Sunday night as a first-ever winner made his way to victory lane. Wes Digman has been close on several occasions but Sunday night belonged to the Cuba City, Wis., driver. Digman hit his marks lap after lap in holding off two very good drivers in Troy Bauer and Tyler Soppe.

Greg Gill made the long tow from Muscatine and went home with the first place trophy. Gill took the win ahead of Jason Brimeyer.
