New sponsor Zero One Shocks and Service gives awards to rookies in five IMCA divisions

DePERE, Wis. – A new marketing partner located in the IMCA racing hotbed of the Green Bay metropolitan area zeroes in on rookie drivers in five sanctioned divisions this season.

Zero One Shocks and Service of DePere, Wis., awards gift certificates good for two free shock rebuilds to each of the five regions for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds and both regions for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.

National Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod rookies of the year receive the same awards.

“Rookies are the up and coming drivers in IMCA and this program is one way we can help them build on their success in their new divisions,” explained Zero One owner Troy Jerovetz, himself an IMCA Modified regular at 141 Speedway and Luxemburg Speedway. “It’s another way we can give them some recognition and help out a little bit on the financial end.”

Jerovetz operates Zero One Shocks and Service out of his race shop. In addition to servicing and rebuilding all makes of shocks, he’s a dealer for Genesis, QA1 and Bilstein, Landrum Springs, Dynamic Drivelines, Bassett Racing Wheels, Wehrs Machine, Dirt Defender and Razor Chassis.

Gift certificates will be presented during the national awards banquet in November or mailed beginning the next week from the IMCA home office.

“I was looking for a way to build my partnerships with sanctioning bodies, especially the sanctioning body I race in,” Jerovetz said. “IMCA is probably about 90 percent of my business. It makes sense to keep my money where my customers are.”

“We are always looking to enhance the incentives for drivers turning laps in a new division and the program with Zero One Shocks aligns with that objective,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder commented. “I’ve known Troy for a number of years and it is great to have him on board.”
