Total Power gives boost to Deery, Dirt Tour drivers, IMCA special events competitors

VISTA, Calif. – New sponsor Total Power gives a boost to drivers in two of IMCA’s premier series, as well as competitors in special events for three other divisions this season.

Champions in both the Hawkeye Dirt Tour and Deery Brothers Summer Series receive 12V batteries and custom hold downs from the Vista, Calif., manufacturer. Total Power also gives $50 gift certificates to designated place finishers at all events in the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified tour and the IMCA Late Model series.

“IMCA is a very professionally run organization. I’ve been to many of their races and I know these are top-notch series,” Total Power owner and president Kenny Pariza said. “Other manufacturers in the industry told me I should jump on board with IMCA. One of them told me it was the best thing he’d ever done.”

Total Power also gives $50 gift certificates at a total of 30 special events for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey parts Center Southern SportMods.

Series champion awards will be presented during the national banquet in November. Total Power product certificates are mailed from the IMCA home office the week after official race results are received.

Pariza has been part of an asphalt modified team for nearly 20 years and looks forward to building his dirt customer base through the new partnership with IMCA.

“Racing is a passion and a pleasure for me, and this program is a way for us to get our toe in the water with IMCA,” he said. “Performance Bodies is part of our dealership network and I got to work at their booth at Boone last year during Super Nationals.”

Information about Total power batteries, accessories and parts is available by calling 760 598-7166 and at the www.totalpower-racingbatteries.com website.

“Many of our racers are familiar with Total Power but through this partnership we hope to increase that exposure to our entire membership base,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “I know Kenny was in Boone last year but this season we’ll host Total Power in an official capacity.”
