ALGONA, Iowa – IMCA Late Models race for $1,000 to win when they join the weekly race program at Kossuth County Speedway on Thursday, June 16.
The runner-up takes home $600 with $400 for third, $300 for fourth, $250 for fifth, $200 for sixth and a minimum of $175 to start.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded to drivers looking to turn laps at the Algona oval before returning for the July 7 Deery Brothers Summer Series event.
Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.
There is no entry fee and pit passes are $25. Spectator admission is $10 for adults and free for ages 14 and under.
Late Model heats will be first on the track and the feature will be held early in the program so drivers can get on the road to home.
