Inaugural Dakota Track Side Northern SportMod series is July 1-4 

MINOT, N.D. – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod drivers have four more reasons to celebrate the upcoming Independence Day holiday.

The inaugural Dakota Track Side-sponsored tour travels to three different North Dakota tracks from July 1-4 for $700 to win, minimum $100 to start events.

Nodak Speedway hosts Friday, July 1 and Monday, July 4 dates, with Southwest Speedway host­ing the Saturday, July 2 show and Williston Basin Speedway rolling out the red carpet for the Sun­day, July 3 event.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points, but no local track points will be awarded each night. Racing starts at 7 p.m. each night and fans and driv­ers are reminded that Dickinson is in the Mountain Time Zone.

Charlie’s Service of Arnegard provides additional payouts. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 for all cars.

There’s a $500 bonus for any driver who can win three of the four events and $250 bonuses for the longest tow and the highest finishing driver with an open trailer over the course of the series.

The top driver in points for the four nights earns $300 with $200 for second in the standings.
