PRO Shocks awards in post-season plans for drivers in five IMCA divisions

BOONVILLE, Ind. – Post-season contingency awards from PRO Shocks go to drivers in five IMCA divisions again in 2016.

The Boonville, Ind., company gives a set of four PRO shocks to the IMCA EMI RaceSaver Sprint Car national champion and product certificates to IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod competitors.

Product certificates valued at $300, $200 and $100 go to top three eligible drivers in the two regions for Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks, and in final national standings for Northern SportMods and Southern SportMods.

Product certificates will be presented during the national awards banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

“PRO Shocks is thrilled to be able to participate as an IMCA marketing partner again this year by giving back to the racers,” said Kerri Hart, marketing director for the AFCO Performance Group LLC. “We look forward to presenting awards to the outstanding racers in their classes. This is going to be an exciting season of IMCA racing!”

Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod drivers are required to compete with four PRO Shocks, display two PRO Shocks decals on their race car and return a signup form by Aug. 1.

The 2016 season is PRO’s seventh as a marketing partner with IMCA. Information about PRO Shocks is available at the afcodynapro.com website, on Facebook or by calling 855 682-4404.

“Drivers in multiple divisions stand to benefit, but the golden egg of the PRO program is the set of shocks for the Sprint Car national champion,” noted IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Programs like these targeting our EMI RaceSaver Sprint Car drivers have really bolstered the contingency lineup for those racers and made an IMCA Sprint Car national championship very lucrative.”
