KIRKWOOD, N.Y. – Five Mile Point Speedway’s Day of Stars features a 25-lap, $500 to win feature for touring Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds.
The second appearance at Kirkwood this spring by the Atomicwraps.com Empire State Series was postponed by inclement weather from May 1 to this Sunday, May 15.
Pit gates open at 1:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 2:30 p.m. Hot laps begin at 3:45 p.m. and racing begins at 5 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $14 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 65 and over, $10 for students ages 13-17 and free for 12 and under. Amazing Family Five-Packs are $40 and a limited number of indoor VIP seats will be sold for a $5 upgrade.
Pit passes are $35.

Matt Cole was the winner when the 15th annual tour opened on April 16 at 5MP. Sunday’s draw/redraw show will be the 20th series event held at Kirkwood since 2005.
Round three of the 2016 series is Friday, May 20 at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee.
