Electric City reschedules Montana Spring Roundup

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Rain. Snow. Mud. Freezing temperatures.

Blame them all for the postponement of Electric City Speedway’s season opening Montana Spring Roundup, originally on the calendar for this weekend and now rescheduled to next Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7.

Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds race for $500 to win both nights. Twenty cars take the green flag in each main event, which pay a minimum of $75 to start. Tow money is also $75.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded for each show. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and students ages 12-17, and free for kids 11 and under. There is no entry fee and pit passes are $25.

Pit passes are $10 and admission to the grandstand is free for the open practice that starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 5.
