Bassett Race Wheels awards go to IMCA national, track champions in three divisions

BURLINGTON, Wis. – Nearly two hundred drivers winning championships in three IMCA divisions see their efforts rewarded by Bassett Race Wheels again this season.

The Burlington, Wis., manufacturer gives a set of four wheels to national IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod champions.

Top drivers in local point standings in the same divisions receive $60 product certificates, good toward the purchase of four wheels.

“Bassett Racing Wheel really values its longtime sponsorship of IMCA racing. There are very few series in racing that provide the kind of affordable, exciting competition that IMCA weekly racing does,” said Brian Gill, Director of Marketing and Sales. “In addition to supplying championship-winning wheels, beadlocks, and mud covers, Bassett Racing Wheel looks forward to awarding IMCA racers with end of season awards in 2016.”

Bassett is in its 22nd season as a marketing partner with IMCA and also returns to national decal programs for Northern SportMods and Southern SportMods. Drivers in both divisions are required to display two Bassett decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares.

Information about Bassett-made wheels is available at the www.bassettwheel.com website or by calling 888 888-7199.

“A racing wheel is such a consumable item that it makes the program Bassett puts together pretty valuable,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder commented. “The sheer quantity of certificates distributed climbs every year and we’re grateful for the relationship we’ve established with them.”
